I am the middle child of five children, born and raised in Cincinnati, OH growing up on the Westside of town. I attended CAPE (Cincinnati Academy of Physical Education) until I reached high school, and later becoming and Alumni of Hughes High School, graduating in June 1996. After graduating, I attended Moler Hollywood Beauty College for Cosmetology. Jumping right into entrepreneurship as a Licensed Cosmetologist, my name evolved to AD da Stylist, known for being one of the coldest Pixie Cut stylist in the city. Because I am always thinking about my personal growth, I stepped out on faith and juggled a new career as a Certified Dental Assistant in 2023.
Singing has always been my number one passion; I have been singing for as long as I could talk. Besides joining the choirs at various churches throughout the community, I also sang in the choirs while attending grade and high school. At just eighteen years old, I received my first record deal signing with AM Records, my hit single with a Neo Soul feel, “Take Me Back.” Besides singing in community events and local church choirs, I was often asked to sing at weddings and home going services. When I am not out singing in the community, I am home singing to my favorite guy, my Parakeet named Walter.
Although I wear many hats, music is my life; my heart lies in the Neo Soul grooves. A few of my favorite artists and groups are Groove Theory, Jill Scott, Lauryn Hill, and Floetry. Just as I love standing behind the microphone, I am also learning to put the pen to the paper so that I can write music for myself and other artists. I see my music career flowing further than Cincinnati, OH; I am not sure where I will plant my feet, I will let God lead me down that path. I am currently working on a few singles that will be available on various platforms this summer. I look forward to seeing what the Man above has in store for me.
